My Lovable Girl: Episodes 9 & 10

This series is getting so painful for me to watch that it took me two days to get through episode 9. Two. Days. I have second lead syndrome so bad right now it is ridiculous. It hurts us! Sigh.

Seriously. How could I not have second lead syndrome? It is inevitable.

Like I said, it took me two days to get through this episode so I'm not going to remember everything that happened. I'll just give a small summary of what I do remember and my opinion. Give me your thoughts too! I don't care if you disagree. Let's discuss this show, okay?

In episode 9 everyone was getting ready for Shi Woo's debut. Shi Woo was pushing himself really hard but trying to see Se Na whenever he could too. Wook told Se Na that he liked her but he wouldn't be in a relationship with her because she is Se Na. What's her name is jealous and Wook's dad is meddling as always. Producer Seo ruined Shi Woo's debut and Shi Woo got injured. A picture was taken of Se Na and Shi Woo while Se Na was visiting him at the hospital and it looks like their kissing. Jealous lady fired Se Na and when she told Wook she made it sound like Se Na knows about Wook's relationship with Se Na's sister and Wook gets very angry and goes to find Se Na. When Wook finds Se Na she wants to avoid him because she thinks he will be upset about the picture of her and Shi Woo.

I don't know guys. These episodes just feel like filler to me. Like, they could really condense it down. You know? I guess they need it to be 16 episodes, though, so they have to drag everything out. Could we at least throw some funny scenes in to make everything less painful? I'm in a lot of pain watching this show lately.

Why the pain? I can't get behind Se Na and Wook. Their chemistry is lacking big time for me. I just see them as brother and sister and have from the beginning. He has been taking care of her and helping her out so I can understand why Se Na has feelings for him but I can't get anything from Wook. It doesn't feel right. *SPOILER* From the very first episode of Answer Me 1994 or Reply 1994 I felt the chemistry between Trash and Na Jung despite their supposed brother/sister relationship and knew they'd end up together. *END SPOILER* I'm not feeling it between Wook and Se Na at all.

I love how sweet Shi Woo is with Se Na and the effort he is trying to make with her. They have those little arguments all the time that end up growing their relationship and it is adorable. I can see them being a couple. It's just there for them.

What do you guys think? I know I'm not the only one!

Bitches be crazy.

Episode 10! This episode was a lot better for me. I felt the chemistry a little bit more in this episode than I have in previous episodes. It finally clicked for me when Wook got so upset after Se Na confronted him at the end of the episode. I don't think I'll be able to get behind the relationship until Se Na knows the relationship between Wook and her sister though. That is part of the reason why I don't like that pairing. That Wook hasn't told her anything.

Look at that smile! I'm melting.

Shi Woo asked Se Na to write a song for him. I am looking forward to what they come up with! My heart is breaking for Shi Woo though. He will get dumped twice in this series. Hopefully he'll get a girl at the end or at least find happiness somewhere else.

What's her name just needs to stop. Like, I don't know why she can't get it in her head. Maybe seeing Wook break down finally got it through to her. She'll probably be on a path of revenge with Producer Seo (that's his name right?) now.

I think Wook's dad needs to explain everything sooner rather than later because he obviously isn't getting anywhere with Wook. Like, you keep saying you don't have much time but you aren't communicating. Just use your words. I don't think you're that bad of a guy.

We ended with Se Na telling Wook she can't like him anymore and Wook telling Se Na he'll be in a one sided love then. You know what is going to happen from here. They'll start their relationship and then everything will blow up when Se Na finds out who Wook is and at the end they'll happily get back together. Your thoughts?

How about if you bring those one-sided feelings this way?

My Lovable Girl: Episodes 7 & 8

This is very late. I could say that I've been busy but I haven't been THAT busy. I've just been putting off watching these episodes. I wasn't ready for what I knew was going down. I've watched them now, though, so let's get started!

I really like Rain's hair like that. Why is he so good looking?

Let's talk about episode 7 first! That was an episode wasn't it? What did ya'll think? I wasn't very into it myself. I'll be honest. The chemistry between Krystal and Rain seems very forced. Even the chemistry between Krystal and L seems forced even though I prefer that pairing. I'll just chalk it up to inferior acting skills. I'm still enjoying the drama but I'm not getting the lovey dovey feels I usually get.

Wook's dad got out of trouble for now. I don't think he is up to anything bad but he got caught giving gifts to another woman so he'll be in trouble again soon. I'm ready to see what Wook's dad's character is really like. I really wish he would communicate with his wife and tell her what he is up to but I guess that would be too easy.

We've got a lot of jealousy going on with what's her name and Se Na. Perfectly understandable. What's her name likes Wook but won't get him and he is hovering over Se Na and protecting her. She's just going to have to get over it because she won't get anywhere but that won't happen. Who's ready to see where her jealousy will lead her?

Shi Woo is determined to win so he decided not to go with Se Na's song. Se Na was upset but she took it surprisingly well. She didn't sulk too long and started trying to write another song. A lot of heroines in dramaland would have sulked way too long before doing that. I liked how Se Na called Shi Woo out on being drunk and hitting on girls when that happens. She's got him figured out for sure.

Wook will not accept his growing feelings for Se Na but we all know he likes her. Let's see what episode 8 brings!

I may not like the Wook/Se Na pairing but I don't mind watching them kiss!

Episode 8 was better for me than episode 7. Episode 7 almost seemed like filler. What can you do though? Sometimes we just need those filler episodes!

Se Na's song got picked up for a drama OST by g.o.d's Kim Tae Woo. *fangirl on* I've only listened to a few of g.o.d's songs but I've liked all of them. I did not, however, realize how cute Tae Woo is! I want to see more of him and hear more of his voice. I liked it. *fangirl off* Wook set all of that up, of course, because he wants Se Na to do well.

Wook's dad tried to tell him not to let Se Na come over anymore, to get rid of Dal Bong, and to move into his house and get ready for marriage. Um. Did you really think that would go well for you? Like, what were you thinking? Wook just walked away. I don't even know what to do with Wook's dad. He doesn't seem like that bad of a guy but then he says something like that and just ruins everything. Oh well. I'm sure he'll redeem himself later.

Let's see. What's her name tried to put the moves on Wook and it did not go well for her. Why can't she get it in her head that she has been permanently friend zoned? I would go so far as to say that she has been family zoned. Like, lady. You have zero chance. Take Wook's step mom's advice and stop barking up the wrong tree.

How stinkin' sweet was it when Shi Woo took Se Na to watch the fireworks? I mean. Come on! So sweet! Why do I have second lead syndrome so badly right now? This does not happen to me. Sigh. I need to wake up.

We got a kiss at the end of this episode! What do you think will happen next ya'll? I'm ready to see where this will go!

Oh yeah. That is why I have second lead syndrome. Just look at the cute! Look at it!

My Lovable Girl Episodes 5 and 6 Review

I'm going to do a review of episodes 5 and 6 this week. I do have time for a full recap but I have a busy weekend ahead of me and I want to finish a drama before the weekend is up. I've been stressed out so I need some kind of stress relief and it's good to have goals right? Okay! Here we go!

Look at how nice I am! I put up a cute picture of Rain and Krystal even though I prefer L and Krystal. You're welcome.

We got a lot of sweetness and a lot of drama in episode five for sure. Everyone was understandably upset and stressed out about the breakup of Infinite Power and the fate of ANA. Wook would have it under control, though, if people would just listen to him. He gets them on his side but they always oppose at first.

Shi Woo went missing but he reached out to Se Na. She was very sweet with him. She brought Shi Woo food and was there for him when he felt like nobody else would be. It is obvious that Shi Woo is starting to like Se Na now. I'm just sad that it won't go anywhere.

Wook told Hae Yoon that she is his worker and nothing else because he got very angry about her pushing him into producing music. Later, though, Wook had a change of heart and apologized to Hae Yoon. Wook told her that he has an ear-worm which makes it difficult to even listen to music. Of course this brings up Hae Yoon's feels and Se Na sees them hugging which upset her.

Everyone in Wook's family is unhappy with his father. Wook's step-mom blames his father's adultery on the failing company.

Thoughts: I love Rain but I do not like the Rain and Krystal combo yet. I know, I know. Everyone else is gaga over this relationship but I'm just not feeling it. I can't explain why. I can see them falling for each other but it is unconvincing to me. Maybe because Wook has a secret and I think everything needs to be out in the open before I feel the romance. I don't know. I'm just meh about their relationship right now.

I'm also not into the Rain and Hae Yoon relationship. I like them as friends but it is very obvious that she is the only one interested in romance. Why even give her hope?

I think that Wook is handling the ANA fiasco really well. I like that he has morals and wants to stick with them. Wook is just awesome all around. Maybe that is why I don't like any of the girls around him. He is just too awesome for all of the business. Ha ha!

Can I at least get a hug between Se Na and Shi Woo? That will make me happy. Please?

Shi Woo is back! He decided to go solo and needs a song. Wook presented three songs to his employees and they chose Se Na's not knowing it was her's. Tough cookies. You can't change your mind now. There is opposition everywhere, though, and they might even lose a huge investment because the investor doesn't like the song so there is that cliffhanger.

Wook's dad is in big trouble. His wife is on to his affairs and even wants to send him to an old person's home. She is having him followed and is talking to a lawyer about divorce. Wook doesn't want anything to do with him either and warns him that he should get his act together before Min Ah leaves him too..

When Se Na tried to treat Wook to a dinner to thank him for his help Hae Yoon tags along. The girls aren't getting along well and Wook even says that he and Hae Yoon aren't dating...yet. Se Na isn't happy but really she doesn't have anything to worry about. She even gets a hug so that like seals the deal right?

Thoughts: This episode had a lot of cute moments. I enjoyed it more than the last one. I don't really have much to say on it. I'm curious about what will happen with the investor but I'm sure Wook will take care of it. What do you guys think?

My Lovable Girl Episode 4 Recap

It is time for another recap, ya'll! I think I'm switching things up again. I don't know about you guys but I have a pretty short attention span so I'm going to make this a short and simple recap. I don't think ya'll need a lot of details, just the important stuff, and I'll give you that and my opinion on the happenings of episode four. This will also help me get my recaps our earlier. So with that being said, let's get started!

*Fangirl on* Would you just look at this man? I mean, look at him! Roar! Every time I hear his voice I melt all over again. Why you so hot Rain? You are Rain. I do not associate Rain with hot!Quit confusing me! *Fangirl off*

Wook gives good advice. Work hard and don't let go of something you are working toward. After this we have WWWGW (Woman Who Won't Get Wook) telling Se Na to give up the competition and ask Jae Young to take her under his wing. Se Na doesn't know what Wook would want her to do and, of course, Jae Young walks in telling her he doesn't want her to give up because she needs to see what it is like to hit the bottom.

Wook wants Shi Woo to apologize to the other members of Infinite Power because he feels like if something isn't done the group will break up. Shi Woo doesn't want to do it. I'm thinking because he wants to protect his pride. When Wook's dad calls to tell Wook to take him home from the hospital Wook says no with the excuse that he has to work. Wook's dad is against the competition and asks Wook to call it off but he tells his dad to stay out of it.

Se Na was trying to eat ramyun when some Shi Woo girls decided to give her a hard time. Shi Woo came and was nice to his fans but harsh to Se Na so Se Na was mad at him. He was trying to protect her, though, so Se Na again had to put her foot in her mouth in front of Shi Woo.

*Fangirl on* Guys. Seriously. L is just too pretty. I could look at him all day, especially when he smiles. I know they won't end up together but I really want them to because they balance each other out. *Fangirl off*

So Se Na asked Shi Woo what kind of song he wants to sing and he said a song that will be number one. That isn't asking too much right? Hee hee!

Se Na is having a hard time writing her song so she goes on a walk where she meets Wook who is worried about her. They fight over ice cream and Wook walks her home. He is surprised to hear that Se Na lives with her friend and her friend's boyfriend and Se Na calls Wook old fashioned. Hee hee!

Min Ah is having a vocal lesson but she is having a hard time with the feel of the song. Her teacher is trying to help her but Min Ah's mom butts in telling the teacher to stick to teaching Min Ah techniques.

Wook wants to set rules for the competition but Jae Young is being a jerk as always. He says that Wook has already replaced So Eun and that he was not the one who killed her. This, of course, sets Wook off. Apparently Seo Young shared some information he wasn't supposed to with So Eun or someone else and Wook blames that on everything. I don't know what happened. I guess we'll have to wait and see! Oh and Wook's friend tells him to make Se Na leave the company so he can forget So Eun but Wook wants to help her. Seo Young tells Se Na he'll ruin Wook because of her.

The next scenes are very sweet. Wook is helping Se Na by getting her mind of off writing the song and bringing her places that may inspire her. He takes her to an art gallery and an abandoned amusement park. When Se Na comments that the park will be gone someday Wook tells her that it will be in peoples' memories and that memories become songs which becomes someone else's memory. Se Na needs to use her memories to write songs. Wook wrote the best songs when he was in love.

This scene just broke my heart. Wook is talking to So Eun about how much fun he had with Se Na that day and how he wished it could have been the three of them. He feels so guilty over waht happened to So Eun. He thinks that if he didn't hold onto So Eun she'd still be alive. I need more background information because this is driving me crazy! Look at how torn up he is!

So Se Na had no clue that she needed to arrange her song and record a guide singing it. She asked the other members of Infinite Power to help out but they refused so Se Na maniuplated Shi Woo into doing it. I think he kind of wanted to though. Oh and earlier WWWGW tried a trick to get Wook but it didn't work and Seo Young tried to propose to WWWGW and that backfired too. A whole heap of rejection in this drama!

There you have it. Seo Young finally lost it and is leaving the company with Infinite Power. Everyone is freaking out and WWWGW tries to stop him but he is determined. He has had enough and won't listen to anyone. He wants to take everything from Wook one at a time to get his revenge. Se Na thinks that it is her fault that Seo Young is leaving but Wook tells her that it isn't and not to worry about it.

Seo Young sent a picture of Wook's father with another woman and little boy and Wook is not happy. His father says that there was nothing wrong with what he did with that woman and Wook loses it. He doesn't understand how his father can be like this. Not even a year after Wook's mom passed away his father was married again and now there is this woman. Wook tells his father that he doesn't want anything to do with him anymore.

Everyone is stressed out after their long day and all of the happenings so Se Na makes an awkward attempt to apologize. It is cute, though, and you can tell that Wook is touched. I'm disappointed that we didn't get to hear her song but I'm sure we'll be able to in the future.

I can't tell you how many times I've tried to write this recap! I kept getting distracted. This episode was interesting and I'm looking forward to finding out more of everyone's story. I'm really curious about what happened between Wook and So Eun. What do you guys think? Will you be watching the rest of the series?

My Lovable Girl Episode 3 Recap

I thought this episode was better than the last two but more on that later. Recap, go!

The last episode ended with Se Na asking Wook if he likes her. Wook says that he is trying to get his investment back after paying off her debt. He just wants to make music with Se Na and does not see her as a woman. She wonders if she is a man then and gets on the bus where she receives a call from the loan sharks who want to say good bye and congratulate her on finding a kindhearted man. Se Na goes back to Joo Hong's house where she is reunited with her guitar.

I know that her name is Hae Yoon but she will now be known as "Woman who won't get Wook" or WWWGW for short. That is what I call her in my notes and it suits her, don't you think? Anyway. WWWGW came to Wook's house to take him to work because she is nervous that he won't show up on his own. Before WWWGW came in Wook thought she was Se Na. Wook tells Se Na that he can't leave Dal Bong alone so she offers to send her maid over to watch him and proceeded to eat Dol Bong's food. Poor WWWGW.

Everyone is in a meeting discussing who should be the president of ANA and this guy is on a rant about how nobody but Jae Young can fill the role. President Lee is present through video without this guy's knowledge and says that Wook is qualified too. Just the sound of President Lee's voice made the guy jump. When Wook walked in he asked everyone to fill in the gaps he'll make since he won't be working hard and will only be at ANA for two months.

Se Na arrives for her appointment at ANA and is surprised when she is told to go the president's office. What is even more surprising is that Wook is in the president's office. When Se Na asks why Wook didn't tell her he said it is because he was a bum until yesterday. To fulfill her contract Se Na has to write a 20,000,000 Won song in two months or repay the debt that Wook covered. When asked if he'll regret it Wook says he doesn't have 20,000,000 Won regrets.

When Wook introduced Se Na to Jae Young he was a total jerk telling Se Na that she wouldn't amount to anything and dismissing her influence on Infinite Power's title song because he listens to and gets inspired by 100s of songs daily. Wook mentions that he must have heard something in Se Na's song, however, because he actually used it. Since Se Na didn't audition like all the other trainees it is decided that she will remain on a monthly trial basis. WWWGW wants to know why Wook invested in Se Na and if she is really that talented and Wook says his gut tells him that she is. Se Na has a week to come up with a song for the monthly review.

Wook has an adorable half sister named Min Ah! She is a trainee at ANA and Wook is concerned. He isn't sure if this is what Min Ah wants or her mother and tells Min Ah's mom that Min Ah has to know she can succeed to do well in the business. When Wook went to the hospital to see why his dad is letting Min Ah be a trainee at ANA President Lee is flirting with the nurses. President Lee asks where else he would send his daughter. YG or Cube? President Lee tells Wook to stick Min Ah in a girl group and leave her alone. Wook wants to know if his father is trying to run his life again and President Lee tells him to work hard so that Pres Lee won't have to. He also says that he won't interfere in Wook's love life anymore but Wook says he will never love anyone until the day he does (uh huh) and informs his father that he has not forgiven Pres Lee.

When asked by Se Na if Wook wrote all of his songs about the same question he avoids answering and tells Se Na to call him president not mister. Infinite Power is discussing their contract with Wook when Shi Woo comes in late because Rae Hoon didn't tell him about the meeting. They make it sound like Shi Woo drove separately because he enjoys driving. Wook conratulates Shi Woo on becoming a singer and Shi Woo asks if Wook will be building a funeral mound as promised. Apparently Wook didn't have a lot of faith in Shi Woo becoming a singer. I don't know if that is the case or if Wook was pushing Shi Woo to become better. As they're leaving Shi Woo and Rae Hoon argue about Rae Hoon's poor leadership skills.

Shi Woo finds Se Na sitting with her guitar in a practice room and sneaks up on her. He proceeds to go over the code of trainees and how everything Se Na uses at ANA is bought with money he earned for the company but Se Na doesn't comply. She tells Shi Woo that she knows why Ra Eum rejected him. Ouch! Right after she said that, though, a manager came in to tell Se Na that she is on cleaning duty. Kind of hurts your cause doesn't it Se Na?

Ra Eum is talking with WWWGW about coming to the company for President Lee but WWWGW calls her out. WWWGW knows why Ra Eum is really there and tells her to break things of with Rae Hoon. WWWGW also tells Ra Eum to change her hair color and when Ra Eum protests saying her color is popular WWWGW disagrees and tells her that she is not a fashionista even though she wants to be.

Ra Eum wants to know what Shi Woo wants for his birthday but he doesn't really answer her. He pulls the "I want to kiss you but I'm just reaching behind you to push a button" move and tells Ra Eum he isn't interested in her anymore. Ra Eum agrees that they should be friends since they are family now but Shi Woo doesn't even want that kind of relationship with her. Wook has to go to a difficult meeting despite his earlier protest and Se Na has to organize Shi Woo's gifts. While organizing the gifts the manager sees Wook leaving with WWWGW and points out that WWWGW probably already called dibs on him.

Wook is at the difficult meeting and it turns out the reason is that the investor has women troubles. He wants to see Ra Eum or he won't invest so Wook says he'll let the investor see her. WWWGW is not happy with that idea because the investor may want more but Wook says that is for Ra Eum to decide.

It is Shi Woo's birthday party! Shi Woo has something special planned for his fans because he loves them. What fangirl doesn't want to hear that? They all swoon but Rae Hoon has a video he prepared for everyone to watch first. At the end of the video it shows Shi Woo being smacked by Se Na. Shi Woo brushes it off as a mistake so that his fans don't get upset then goes outside to talk to Rae Hoon. Rae Hon is upset because Shi Woo replaced Joong Do and feels like Shi Woo is not talented enough. Shi Woo said he didn't ask to replace Joong Do and the boys get into a fight. After Se Na breaks up their fight and Rae Hoon leaves Se Na apologizes for everything but Shi Woo told her not to say sorry because he wants to be cruel to her.

When Ra Eum showed up to the meeting she almost ripped up her contract because she thought Wook wanted her to do inappropriate things with the investor. That wasn't the case, though, because Wook actually invited the investor's wife to the meeting so that the investor wouldn't do anything to Ra Eum. WWWGW was so relieved and happy afterwards because she had been afraid that Wook changed. There is a meeting about what happened at Shi Woo's party and the ranting guy from earlier wants to know who Se Na is and why she is in their company. Wook said it is the manager's fault for not monitoring Rae Hoon's activities. Jae Young still insists that it is Se Na's fault the investment was lost. When Se Na meets Wook on the roof and apologizes he tells her how disappointed she is and how much he regrets his investment because she isn't working hard enough to write a song.

WWWGW had a meeting with the media who were at Shi Woo's party and they have audio of the events but no video. If Rae Hoon will MC for them they won't leak the audio. Jae Young is still upset about Wook's presence and tells WWWGW that he doesn't like Wook because WWWGW has feelings for Wook and if she isn't careful she may lose him not as a man but a producer. Wook is watching Se Na practice and almost walks in when he remembers Se Na asking if he likes her. WWWGW walks up and asks if Se Na is really talented and Wook says it doesn't matter if Se Na doesn't rise to the occasion. Just as they're walking away Se Na begins to play the keyboard and Wook is mesmerized.

It is thirty minutes before Se Na's turn to be evaluated and Jae Young asks her to go to the studio to pick up an mp3. He says Se Na doesn't have to worry about the evaluation because she doesn't need it. During the evaluation nobody is good enough and Jae Young criticizes everyone harshly but Min Ah. She was the worst but got praised. Wook got anxious when the song that was playing during his accident played and he had to leave the room. The file wasn't ready when Se Na arrived at the studio so she didn't get to the evaluation until everyone had finished. Wook let her sing and everyone was moved by her song even the ranting guy from earlier. Wook said it lacked the basics of songwriting but it was charming.

Jae Young wonders why Wook only evaluated Se Na and Wook says he did it because the others were Jae Young's kids. He agrees to evaluate them and tells the girl group if their concept is sexy Jae Young needs to help them fulfill it, tells the solo girl she practices too much and needs to go to the hospital before she collapses, questions why everyone praised Min Ah when she doesn't know basics of singing, and tells the solo guy he needs to be his own person.

Jae Young wants to know if Wook thinks that Se Na is the best and Wook wants to know if Jae Young doesn't want to admit it or can't see it: that music is an art. Wook said it would be embarrassing if the nation's best songwriter couldn't see that. Jae Young took this as a challenge and proposed a battle between himself and Se Na. If the song he writes wins Se Na will leave the company and if Se Na's song wins Jae Young will leave. As they're leaving some of the trainees think that Wook was too harsh while some think he offered constructive criticism and wonder what his relationship with Se Na is. The manager tells Se Na that she is lucky to have such a great backer and apologizes for making Se Na work so hard.

Min Ah is not happy about what her brother said and is crying in the car. Her mom is upset too and tells Wook that he should help Min Ah because she has endured seventeen years (I'm guessing in his family) and she will make Min Ah a singer no matter what. Wook finds Se Na outside looking at a balloon and wonders why she isn't working on her song. Se Na said she wanted to stay at ANA a long time but Wook ruined it and she wonders why he did that. Wook tells her that there could be a miracle and she is special to him because it has been a long time since his heart beat while listening to someone's song.

There you have it! Episode three! I hope ya'll don't mind all of the WWWGWs. That is her character name in my head. It makes me feel bad for her but that girl needs to wake up! I liked her character more during this episode. She was adorable when she was so happy that Wook hadn't changed and didn't sell out Ra Eum.

I'm really appreciating Se Na's sassy ways, especially when they backfire on her. I don't she'll ever be able to make good on her threat to Shi Woo. Speaking of Shi Woo. Am I the only one shipping Shi Woo and Se Na? I mean, don't get me wrong, I really like Wook but I'm not feeling anything between him and Se Na. I think Shi Woo and Se Na have a lot more chemistry. I rarely go for the second lead couple ship but this time I'm feeling it. Maybe it will slowly build up between Se Na and Wook. We're only on episode three after all.

I'm still not sure about this show. Something keeps pulling in despite it being so basic and predictable. I guess I'm getting attached to the characters. Especially Shi Woo. I think that Shi Woo is very interesting. It seems like he is putting on a tough guy act because he is defensive about replacing a member of Infinite Power. He knows the members don't care for him so he feels like he needs to be a tough guy.

I almost feel like I'm watching for the side characters because I think I know what will happen between Wook and Se Na. They'll start to fall in love, she'll find out he dated her sister, drama, and back together more in love than before. We'll see, though! I could be surprised.

What do you guys think of My Lovable Girl so far? How about one last picture of Shi Woo's smile? I was definitely swooning too much over him during this episode. Be well, everyone!

My Lovable Girl Episode 2 Recap

I know I'm doing this really late but I had a busy weekend out of town. I got to see my sister two days after her birthday instead of months! It is nice to live closer.

I'm trying something different with the recap today because I didn't care for the last one. I was bored trying to read it over again. Give me some feedback and let me know what you think! I'm still new to this and learning so I'll take constructive criticism with no problems. All right! Here we go!

Episode two opened with Se Na and Joo Hong at an outdoor bar getting ready to have some food and drinks. Not knowing that Hyun Wook was right there (or maybe she did know) Se Na called Wook a jerk and talked about moving away. Joo Hong said at least he wasn't bad looking. I mean, if you're going to work for a jerk it would be nice if he was pleasant to look at right?

Se Na got a new job at a lunchbox place that is very famous and delivers to celebrities. It is a demanding job but it pays well so it's worth it right? Of course the first place Se Na delivers to is ANA and who else would be on the elevator but Shi Woo? Se Na, logically, must be a stalker or sneaking her CDs in with the lunchboxes. These accusations get Shi Woo into trouble as Se Na threatens to leak his rejection to the public but he gets out of it when someone else gets on the elevator and he hands her a business card for the lunchbox place.

I think Wook is the stalker here. I'm pretty sure he somehow helped Se Na get her new job but don't quote me on that. Anyway, Wook keeps "coincidentally" running into Se Na which leads her to ask if he is a bum since she has never seen him work. If this is Wook's way to keep an eye on Se Na and get closer to her I don't know if is going to work very well. His behavior is definitely confusing Se Na.

Wook's stalking eventually leads Se Na to a park for lunchbox delivery. She mentions the fact that it is going to rain an as soon as Wook says it would be nice if it did, the rain starts. Se Na complained about the rain and Wook told her she should have brought an umbrella since she knew it was going to happen. I mean, he has a point Se Na. After getting a phone call Se Na begins to leave when Wook stops her to cover her head so she doesn't get a cold and hate him more. Awww. Wook. Not so sure if he is beginning to "like" her yet but that was a sweet gesture. I'm getting more of a little sister/big brother vibe.

Housewarming party time! Wook didn't want Hae Yoon to know where he lives but the information got leaked somehow (Ahem. You're supposed to have tight lips, friend!) Sung Jin is obviously getting jealous of the feels Hae Yoon has for Wook and tells him that he should write a ballad about the loss of a lover. Too low man. He even goes so low as to ask if the reason he won't write that ballad is because Wook has already forgotten about So Eun. Dude, you don't have to worry! Stop digging into wounds and just bide your time until Hae Yoon finally figures out that Wook is not and never will be into her!

Poor Se Na can't shake those loan sharks. This time things are so escalated that So Eun appears to lead Wook to Se Na so that he can protect her. He gets his opportunity when a truck rolls down a hill toward Se Na. Wook shielded Se Na and got injured in the process but nothing too serious.

I just put that picture there because I like his smile in it. I fangirled way too much when I saw it. I mean, how cute is Rain? Fo' reals.

Wook hired an investigator to see how bad Se Na's debt with the loan sharks is. Se Na got fired from her job because of the loan sharks and she delivers one last meal to Wook. When he hears that Se Na got fired he uses his injuries to his advantage and tells Se Na that he will pay her to take care of Dol Bong. Se Na asks for 9,000 won an hour but Wook pays her 20,000.

Here we have the members of Infinite Power giving an interview. They pretend to get along nicely for the interview then argue about Ra Eum right after the interview ends. I wonder how many of our favorite idol groups don't really get along very well. They can't all be that good at acting right? After Shi Woo goes into his van to rest and listen to music Se Na's demo begins to play. Shi Woo is upset with his manager because he didn't pass the demo along to Jae Young because it isn't his style. Shi Woo obviously has a sense of honor. It is nice to see and I think he is a sweet guy but trying to act tough to protect himself.

Joo Hong is adamant that Wook "likes" Se Na. Why else would he be paying Se Na for a job that he can do himself now that he is healed? Joo Hong even thinks that Se Na should live with Wook so that she is protected from loan sharks. Se Na just scoffs at Joo Hong but you can tell she likes it. Even the lady selling fish at the market thinks that Wook is Se Na's boyfriend and is jealous of Se Na. Can you blame her?

While Wook is watching Se Na play with Dol Bong on the beach he is reminded of So Eun and asks if she is watching Se Na and Dol Bong. Se Na is happy to be at the beach because she grew up close to the ocean and it reminds her of the home she misses. Wook asked why Se Na moved to Seoul and Se Na told him that she wants to be like her sister who is pretty, talented, and good at everything. Se Na feels like she isn't good at anything and messes everything up. Wook doesn't think Se Na is that bad. Awww. Wook! You can't say stuff like that to a girl if you don't want her to fall for you. Se Na loved it. She is really starting to crush on Wook.

After their trip to the beach Wook got a call that is dad is in the hospital. When Wook went to see his dad they argued again and Wook's dad asked him to take over the company. The employees at ANA want to keep the president's condition a secret and are discussing making Jae Yoon the president because he is such a good music producer that is the main source of income for ANA. He says he'll think about it only since it is a bad time for the company. What is up with Jae Yoon? Is he really mean or is he putting on a show to get Hae Yoon's attention?

Hae Yoon is doing whatever she can to keep Wook by her side. Okay. Not really. In this case I think she has ANA's best interests at heart. She wants Wook to step up as president but he still doesn't want to. While Se Na is outside waiting for Wook and Hae Yoon to finish talking she hears the song Hae Yoon plays for Wook. It is the title song of Infinite Power's new album but it is way too similar to Se Na's demo. When she goes to ANA to ask Jae Yoon about it he belittles her saying anyone with a brain can write a song. Wook steps up to her defense and gives Jae Yoon three options: "First, you get caught for plagiarizing. Second, you put out the song as a joint effort with an unknown songwriter. Third, if you don’t like any of those choices, make a new song." Jae Yoon is still defiant but Wook says he'll become president to shut Jae Yoon up.

Se Na decided to go back to her hometown after all of this. She decided she couldn't take the thugs coming after her and the hardships of trying to become a musician. She even left her guitar behind as a gift to Joo Hong. Wook went after her, though, telling her that ANA bought her talent and her debt has been paid. Wook tells Se Na that he is tired of playing and will start working at ANA too. As he walks away with Se Na's bag she asks if Wook likes her.

So what did you guys think of that episode? There was a lot going on! I don't think Wook "likes" Se Na yet. I think he still thinks of her as a little sister but may be developing those feelings slowly.

I appreciate Shi Woo's sense of honor. Se Na may not be his favorite person but he still got her demo to Jae Yoon because his manager told her he would but didn't and Shi Woo stuck up for Se Na when Jae Yoon was denying the plagiarism.

I like Hae Yoon's character and I feel bad that she won't get the guy she wants but I'm also tired already of her going after him when it obviously isn't going to happen. You've known the guy for twelve years! If nothing has happened in those twelve years most likely nothing is going to happen in the future.

I'll keep watching to see what happens. I'm slowly getting more attached to the characters so even though I think I know what will happen in the drama I'll at least keep watching for them.

Give me your thoughts! Are you looking forward to the next episode?
